our legal expertise
ARBITRATION
Our arbitration practice includes acting as arbitrators and counsel. In both roles, we are regularly involved in complex domestic and international, two-party and multi-party arbitrations, in institutional and ad hoc arbitration proceedings.
Our practice covers a wide range of industries, including telecommunications infrastructure development, construction and engineering related to oil refineries and sewage treatment plants, the aviation industry, technology and know-how transfer in rail projects, agriculture and the hospitality industry.
Our expertise includes post-M&A and shareholder disputes, joint venture and consortium disputes, disputes arising from FIDIC and other form contracts, disputes arising from international sales, licensing, agency, distribution and transport contracts, and disputes relating to foreign investment in state-owned infrastructure.
We are committed to quality and efficiency, both as arbitrators and as counsel. We are committed to transparent communication and close cooperation. Independence and impartiality, discretion and confidentiality are the fundamental principles on which our work is based.
LITIGATION
If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, going to court is usually unavoidable. We advise our clients in this pre-litigation phase and focus on their needs. Our advice is based on a cost-benefit analysis and results in a proposal for the strategy to be pursued.
Our litigation practice covers disputes in the areas of corporate, contract, employment, inheritance, and family law. We handle both domestic and international disputes.
Our practice also includes proceedings for interim relief, the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements and enforcement proceedings.
MEDIATION
Mediation enables the parties to actively contribute to the resolution of their conflict. The structured process helps them to identify their needs. This enables win-win solutions, preserves the relationship, and can improve the parties’ communication.
As independent mediators, we accompany the parties in their conflict resolution process and support them in finding the best possible solutions to their conflicts, which in some cases cannot be ordered by the courts.
